2013 in review and the Launch of the 30-60 Second Video Pitch

Hello and welcome back! It's been a bit of a hiatus! But a lot has happened since the last time I posted to this blog! Bosco Design Group's video division has grown and is doing some great things for small businesses. http://youtu.be/uJHOR4FGzls We have launched the 30-60 second video pitch to help small businesses approach social media in a more effective way. I have spoken on many panels and educated hundreds of business owners about the use of social media for their business. This is the result of those conversations. Why is the use of video so important? Youtube was acquired by Google and YouTube is the second largest search engine behind Google. YouTube SEO (search engine optimization) keywords work the same way as they do on your website. So if you keyword your video the same way you keyword your website you'll be more likely to end up higher on the natural listings when people are searching for something related to your business offerings. If you're interested in learning more about the program and how it's affordable for your small businesses give us a call 917 673 1526. or visit www.nickboscodesign.com. In 2013, We worked with schools in the Montclair New Jersey School District on multiple school projects. We spent the last 8 months supplying the governing body of Essex County New Jersey with video production and editing of all of their meetings. We helped HOMECorp of Montclair create a moving and powerful video to present at their 25th anniversary gala celebration. We designed movie posters for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center Documentary called 16 Acres. And much much more! We are really excited about what's going to happen come September as we have officially became approved vendor for the Superbowl 48 coming to New Jersey in 2014! We are looking forward to the rest of 2013 and 2014!

Promote your Business with The Taste of Montclair

So, it's 2011 and we're half way through this year. And finally we've pushed through the longest day of the year. And now it's all down hill from here. Days get shorter, temperature gets colder and before you know it it's winter all over again. But there's one saving grace as the leaves get ready to fall off of the trees! And let me say it's a beautiful thing! THE TASTE OF MONTCLAIR HARVEST FESTIVAL. Yes this was a brand that was failing for years. Many organizations have tried to launch The Taste of Montclair in the past but it has experienced the same fate in the recent years as a flight on a stormy night...Cancelled. But this year is different! We have faced much adversity, but I do believe that we will weather the storm. And we will be successful in actually holding a world class event. The brand mark was developed by Nick Bosco, Creative Director of Bosco Design. Check out the look and feel at www.thetasteofmontclair.com. Frank Louvis of Coastal Technologies has handled the build out and the programming of the website. The event will feature a wonderful selection of the township's best restaurants and small businesses and performing arts community.

The event will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 3pm until 9pm and on Saturday, September 24th from 10am until 10pm. Whole Foods Market is our title sponsor and the benefiting charity is the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair. All of the vendor booths will be tented and lights will be provided. The tents will be supplied by ABC events. Each vendor will be supplied with an 8 foot table, 2 chairs and linens.

Our entertainment lineup is going to feature local bands that light up Montclair and surrounding communities. Friday night's Headlining band is 3rd Valve, a 10 piece Jazz and Rock ensemble. Saturday Night Headlining band is LIL' Bastad a 5 piece funk band. Featuring Luke Michura and Mark Bowers. We will also be featuring acoustic acts, singer songwriter acts, as well as acts from some of the well known musical schools located in and around Montclair.

There will be plenty of things for kids as well. For example Time2Party will be supplying face painting and balloon animals for kids. Just Kidding around will feature toys and trinkets perfect for all ages. As the weeks leading up to the event pass we will be adding more things to the event. So stay posted! And make sure you friend the event at facebook and follow us on twitter for the most up to date information about the event.
